About Us

Jason Abt, founder of Archden Construction, is a Civil Engineering graduate of Texas A&M Class of '97. He started his career in Oil & Gas, and had the good fortune to travel, work and live in some amazing locales, including Honduras, Puerto Rico, St. Croix, and Ghana. Jason returned once again to A&M, completing his Masters in Business Administration degree in May of 2003.

In the years since completing his MBA, Jason left the international travel and industrial side behind for the domestic commercial side of the business. He has managed projects and teams across multiple commercial markets, including retail, office, restaurant, and medical, across a broad range of clients. The majority of his experience, however, has been leading both engineering and construction teams on advanced technology mission critical, data center, and pharmaceutical projects for several Fortune 100 customers. His varied experience across several industries, as well as his experience on highly technical projects, provides a unique skill set and flexibility that Archden was founded on.

Jason and his wife Chelsey currently live in Argyle with their two amazing and energetic growing boys. He enjoys a wide range of activities, including working out, playing poker, grilling and smoking meats, hunting, snow/wakeboarding, mountain biking, watching Aggie football, and is currently working on his not-so-great, but ever-improving golf game. Spending time with his family and great friends, however, is his favorite pastime. Jason may not have been born in Texas, but he got here as fast as he could! A graduate of Lewisville High School, he has called Denton County home base for almost 30 years.
